The Best Mother’s Day Gift is a Healthy Baby
In May each year, we focus on supporting women, children and young mothers through our programs in a variety of different ways. We want to see every child achieve their rights to play, safety, health, education, a clean environment and a bright future.
Thank you to everyone who contributed towards our Mother’s Day Appeal. As our biggest fundraiser of the year, it lays the foundation for the funding for our programs and ensures that we are able to support young mothers living with disadvantage in India.
Mother’s Day Celebration High Tea Fundraiser
On Sunday 3rd May 2026, 180 guests attended the Exhibition Hall at John XXIII College, Mount Claremont, to celebrate the mothers, friends, and family in their lives. The afternoon high tea was a fantastic celebration and raised over $23,000 for young mothers and women living in disadvantage in India. Our online appeal raised a further $4,000, totalling $27,000!
Our thanks as always goes to the huge team of volunteer cooks, helpers and students from PLC, IONA, John Curtin and John XXIII College who make the day such a success.
